| LeonhartFour 08/09/21 5:31:35 PM #96: | I gotta say, it feels kind of...convenient that the judge basically says that since the evidence by the prosecution wasn't compelling enough, there's no need for the jury to weigh in. Like, what's the point of having the jury if the judge can just override them? I get they're supposed to work in tandem, but at least let them have some input. I guess it'd be a tough sell to say they'd all vote Not Guilty in this situation, but in that case, just have it be a 3-3 split and let the judge have the tiebreaker or something. It feels so strange that at the end of G1-2, Ryunosuke says that Kazuma's death was such a waste, and at the end of G1-3, the foreman of the jury says this has all been a grand waste of time. If that's the feeling Takumi wants the player to experience, he's doing a good job, but it's a strange decision! He's really playing the long game here! That being said, I like how when the judge declares the verdict of Not Guilty, there's ticker tape, but there's no cheering but rather the gallery in commotion like when something unexpected happens.
