Right but the thing is the definition I'm advocating actually has utility and the definition that encompasses "anything anyone has ever or could ever die of, ever" is basically useless since there is almost nothing it doesn't apply to.

"Chicken pox is deadly" is much closer to the latter definition than the former here

Like I'm sorry this is giving you such trouble and I'm even more sorry to see you've decided to just refuse to see reason here but if you say without qualification that the flu is deadly all you're doing is diluting the meaning of the word and making it less useful, like that's just factual lol
