See the fact that you're pulling back and padding with weasel words here shows that you know there's something silly about your case here lol

"Can be deadly under certain conditions or in certain populations" is an accurate descriptor. Merely stretching flat "deadly" to include anything that "can be deadly, etc." makes "deadly" a pretty diffuse term.

Like you're not the only person to use it this way these days so I'm guessing I just have to adjust to it, but "deadly" used to mean "disease I, having some understanding of probability and statistics, should realistically fear as a mortal danger" and now seems in many people's minds to mean "disease certain people could under certain conditions die from, maybe* "
