The wage gap is such a stupid, massively debunked myth and it's really grating how it's still pushed. Compare same job, same experience level and years, same hours worked, etc... and there is no "gap". Compare a part time receptionist against lawyer with 20 years on the job, and...you get a Kamala Harris talking point. It's not a myth, though I agree that the stats often thrown around when portraying the gap feel misleading. The source article cited in the tweet indictates that a sizeable portion of the gap is unexplained even when things like education and occupation are controlled for.
