Topic"Workers will take a pay cut to stay remote"

I personally don't want to work remotely 100% of the time because it's hard for me to separate my personal life with work life when both are happening in the same place. So it's first world problem to rival the best first world problems, but these last 1.5 years has been a personal hell for me even though it's been by far my best period financially. I'd be up for going in to the office 3 (MWF) or 4 (M-Th) but no less than that.

Main reason I didn't want to be a college professor and instead went for an office job is because I wanted a super clear separation of work and personal life after going through grad school, where I couldn't enjoy a single vacation or break without thinking about paper deadlines or work to catch up on.

I'd agree to a 5% pay cut for the above teleworking to be an option once everything returns to normal

Also Duncan, plug in hybrid cars charge way slower and have way less range than full electric cars. So of course it's going to seem like a waste if you're constantly using a plug in like a full electric when the point is for it to be a hybrid to get better fuel economy compared to an ICE car. It's not really a valid complaint, the car is being used in the wrong way if charging it overnight is such a hassle. If it was a full electric, you'd get 300+ miles of range and it would charge from 0-100% in like 2 or 3 hours.
