Nobody else gives you a unique item.In GCN version it was just Zelos, Colette, and Kratos. But in the PS3/PC version, they added titles/costumes for everyone. 1 requires you to choose Regal at the Flanoir event and another requires you to choose Genis at the Flanoir event. So you have to choose Colette, Zelos, Kratos, Genis, and Regal to get everyone's titles >_> Presea gets her extra costume with Genis's event and Sheena gets her extra costume from Zelo's event (but not vice versa for either of them for some reason).Raine gets her costume from a casino prize.
