Zithers is absolutely right when saying that depiction isn't an endorsement. Put a little more thought into this, the great films deserve the effort. Eh, I don't know about all that. I think that's kinda where my mindset was the first time I watched it, but the more I see it, the more this movie strikes me as closer to how stifled sees it. I mean sure, Wayne's character's racism is a character flaw, but it's not one that's ever chastised by the film.
