The Justice department have already linked a French national to monies used by the January 6th insurrectionists; thanks to US law where the right hand does not have to know what the left hand is doing, Main Justice could lay sedition and treason charges on individuals but has chosen not to thus far for fear of being accused of prosecutorial overreach. I'm waiting to find out how involved (former Prime Minister) Stephen Harper and his International Democratic Union (far right think tank, devoted to an international unite the right movement) are in providing material support the 1/6 insurrectionists.
