| LeonhartFour 08/03/21 5:00:11 PM #46: | G1-2 is entitled The Adventure of the Unbreakable Speckled Band, derived from the Sherlock Holmes story of (almost) the same name (the word "Unbreakable" isn't in the original title). It might be the most critically acclaimed of the short stories. Although not my personal favorite, it is indeed quite good. A lot of Sherlock's erroneous deductions in this game are summaries of the stories each case is based on, for the record. I won't spoil the details of the story in case someone is inspired by these games to read Sherlock Holmes (as I was), although perhaps the statute of limitations has expired at this point, and the intro gives some of the details anyway. --- ...
