Topic	Reference checks, god this process never ends
acesxhigh 08/02/21 9:40:57 PM #1:	Even with signed offer, it is just a never ending fucking headache, I hate reference checks and they want no less than 5 references. I can't stand it. Last time I had to do this, I completely couldn't even get in touch with like half of the supervisors I tried, on LinkedIn or text message or anything. I can't understand why an offer would be contingent on contacting people you haven't spoken to in 5 years and getting them to vouch for you. It can be so unreliable.
