DoorDash, GrubHub, Amazon Flex, Instacart, Uber, etc. These are all services that require people to do these jobs full time. Our demand for those services skyrocketed during the pandemic. People started those jobs, realized they could make more money with less oversight. Theyre still supporting retail and restaurants but in different ways. Consumers and businesses are also to blame. If online shopping demand goes up then there has to be resources devoted to that and businesses havent figured out how to balance both yet IMO. Customers are also just assholes.
