Assuming you both got the minimum (seems unlikely you could afford rent on that), you would get $1,208 from Oregon. Federal benefits would then give you an additional $3,200 to $6,400 depending on the period you were unemployed.

So combined you couldn't pay $1,800 rent with over $4K of benefits? And that's assuming you both got the absolute minimum Oregon UI.
I admittedly wasn't getting it past the start of the pandemic, my wife and I were lucky to get good jobs around the same time, and I only recently left that job, but she was getting about $1200 a month, nowhere near what you're suggesting.
