If the Olympics is 40% swimming medals and 60% other sports, that's a little unfair. I do find it a little funny that some swimmer can swim two lengths of a pool in under a minute, wait half a day for the next swim-two-lengths race and have another crack at it, while some people play in a tournament that spans literally the entire length of the Olympics just for a single chance at a medal...which could be hijacked by a single mistake by a teammate. Precisely. Swimming should be cut down to freestyle at 4 or so different lengths, like track running is. --- Props to azuarc, the current Guru of the Decade.
