They were definitely trying to pull in an audience with the new Teela, but they botched it. They went the Xena/Gabrielle route long after the theyre secret lesbians troupe had become pass. They may not have been directly trying to pull in the lgbtq crowd in the 80's, but they DEFINITELY did. 80's He-Man is a de facto gay icon. --- This is my signature. You read my signature.
