The issue of violence in porn is significant and there has been a growing backlash to it. Teens do watch porn and being exposed to violent or otherwise extreme pornography does impact how people view sex.

The way you fix that, however, does not include producing pornography aimed at minors and exposing them to it.

Like how the fuck do you get to that point and post it to Twitter, like "yes this sounds like a good idea :)". We should be trying to expose teenagers to LESS sexualisation, not MORE.

And the worst part is that the point that she's trying to service with this proposal - that there's too much violence in pornography, and that the sex depicted in porn is physically unrealistic and likely to impact how growing teenagers view sex and what to expect when they have sex - is solid. That is a valid concern, both for guys who can't get off unless their sexual encounters hit a certain threshold of extremity and girls who are expected to perform in ways that aren't comfortable or pleasurable for them.

So how could you go and contaminate the ground-water of that discourse by saying "we should produce pornography with the intent of showing it to minors"? What the fuck is wrong with you? How dare you, even?

Fucking hell, this puts me in a shit of a mood.
