But for the record, Kevin Smith DID lie about the show much like how a politician tries to cloak a provocative yet marketable agenda under the radar of voters. I get the validity of the outrage towards his dishonesty, especially his arrogant responses towards critics calling him out. However, while people screaming about Kevin Smith being an obedient thug for radical identity politics have credit to their complaints...they got his primary initiative wrong. Kevin Smith has been a marketing shill for quite a while now. This is no different. His motivation here is likely less about his politics and mostly $$$.
