On the plus side, I don't have asthma, so I haven't really had any major problems breathing in them, though I do know some people who have. Regardless of how often adjl posts about how the oxygen level is the same and thus masks don't impair breathing in any way whatsoever. I generally also say something like "the fact that the sense of having trouble breathing is completely psychosomatic doesn't make it any less legitimate, but it does mean that's something you can overcome because there's no actual physical problem there." I don't doubt that people feel like they have problems, nor do I think that shouldn't be sympathized with. I just also don't let them pretend it's not all in their head. --- This is my signature.
