Stoneskin was rarely used midfight and DRK didn't exist to apply INT down (rip old Delirium) so I can't imagine it would make a ton of difference except to the tank. But I have zero idea how the altered potency values, defense ratings, and damage formula change things if at all. Melees used to have garbage magic defense, dunno if that's still the case.
