Trump just brought out the worst in everyone. For once, they felt safe talking about their worst inhibitions because Trump always talked about his. That's why they always said he was a 'straight-talker'. What they really meant by that is that he wasn't afraid to say the worst things that were on their minds that they never felt they could say in public, but now they just don't care anymore.
