#4: Delinquent Duo
First TCG release: Magic Ruler (2002-09-16)

This is the second member of my PERSONAL TRINITY of Life Point cost cards: cards that I personally pulled and once thought werent a big deal or just bad as a kid but now have grown to love now that Ive seen the light. In fact I may have gone the other way a bit too much because I love spending life points now. Just make it rain life points and become a rambling gambling dude as that one trainer would say.

One of my early Magic Ruler pulls, I did like the art but it avoided my deck for a long time because of aversion to spending my life but I found enlightenment years later when I was out of the game and somehow got into a conversation with some friends who had played competitively before and a whole new world was opened to me: I was out of the cave! My Imperial Order had long been traded away but I still had the other two cards which would go on to become 2 of the now-famous and historically relevant Holy Trinity.

One of the more infamous cards through the games history and its actually entirely because of the TCG itself. It never had an anime appearance but it had quite the reputation among the actual playerbase. And god damn this card is broken. If you draw this in your starting hand and youre going first, you can just win from that turn because the advantage you generate by immediately having your opponent start off with two less cards is just too much to overcome. Funny enough I still never got a chance to play this in a deck because its been banned for forever now.

Still got the one I pulled and thats a big part of the reason why Imperial Order lags behind the other two in my rankings. Ill be looking to get a 1st ed too soonno matter the cost.
