There have been a bunch of deaths at Disneyland.

The People Mover was one of the most dangerous rides, despite having a top speed of 7 miles per hour. Two people were killed in separate incidents when they tried to climb between cars, fell out, and were run over by a following train. Another person was paralyzed when she climbed out to retrieve a lost hat, got left behind, tried to exit through a service door, and fell from a stairway.

Two people have drowned in the Rivers of America. One teenager snuck in booze during Grad Night, got drunk, stole a rubber boat, capsized it, and drowned. Another teen and his younger brother hid on Tom Sawyer Island until after it closed, realized they were trapped, and tried to swim across. The younger boy couldn't swim so his older brother tried to carry him across on his back, and drowned half way across. The younger brother was able to stay afloat by dog paddling until he was rescued.

Another person was killed when a metal cleat on the hull of the Columbia tore loose, striking a guest in the head. The normal inelastic hemp tie line had been replaced by a cheaper nylon rope which could stretch. The ship approached the dock too quickly and and an employee slipped the rope onto the cleat to brake the ship, something it was not designed for. The rope stretched under the load, ripping the cleat free of the wooden hull and launching into the crowd at high speed.

A 23 year old woman suffered a fatal cerebral aneurysm after riding the Indiana Jones Adventure.

A woman was decapitated on the Matterhorn. She was not properly buckled in and was thrown from the bobsled then struck by the following car. Another boy stood up during the ride and fell out; he died several days later.

A woman became ill after riding Space Mountain. At the unload area, she was unable to exit the vehicle. The cast members told her to remain seated while they removed the vehicle from the track, but she was accidentally sent through the ride a second time. She was taken to the hospital in a coma and died a week later.

One person was killed by the Monorail when they tried to sneak into the park by climbing onto the beamway. The Monorail came around a blind corner and splat.

A cast member was crushed to death by the America Sings ride, caught between a stationary platform and a revolving wall.

One person was killed on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and ten others were injured when the train derailed. The locomotive fell on top of the first car, crushing it.

Three people have committed suicide by jumping off the Disneyland Hotel.

Two people were murdered in the old parking lot, one stabbed and another shot. There have been at least two and possibly three suicides at the new Mickey & Friends parking structures.
