alll right i'm caught up and here are my wild predix. although up to now the most determining factor seems(?) to be duel links related which i know nothing about. the rankings being determined by a combination of the three categories throws me off a bit because that makes me think the top 10 all have like 1 or 2 point difference in their final scores around the 20 point mark because most of the ones with old school appeal/possible attachment are not scoring highly on usability and vice-versa.

predix:
L&D - i'm going with this as my #1 predix because of the combined score factor since it was a widely-used card but is also old enough that it might gain some points in the other areas. also because CED was already predicted and i don't want to have the same answer lol

Black Skull - this would have probably been my #1 predix if i didn't think the usability would hurt its overall score. and the other four choices listed below would have been too safe. it was THE og badass fusion.

Blue-Eyes & co.
Red-Eyes & co.
Slifer, Ra

Cyber Dragon & co.
DAD, CED

these would have scored very high in the usability category and they're all old enough to have nostalgia attached to them though not as much as the real OG ones. i wouldn't be surprised if one of these ended up being #1 though either

these were my "dark horse" picks that did come to mind. i'll be pretty amused if the rest of the picks land more on this side than my actual predictions:
Black Rose
Baby Dragon, Thousand Dragon
Winged Dragon, Guardian of the Fortress #1
Luster Dragon
Crawling Dragon
Dragon Dwelling in the Cave
Harpie's Pet
...Dragon Zombie?

To directly address these predix, the ones not covered anyway:
L&D - I'm ashamed to admit I actually can't think of what L&D stands for.
Black Skull Dragon - I liked this card but I liked Meteor Black Dragon more and felt it was kind of redundant and inferior to MBD.
Black Rose - I do like the idea of black rose, but the fact that it destroys itself too is just something I can't get over.
Normal dragons - I was never super attached to any of these besides luster dragon, and once I saw alexandrite dragon it was like that meme where the dude with his girlfriend is admiring that other girl's ass. That dude was me. Luster dragon even has a #2 version that I like the way it looks more. Baby Dragon was cute but Thousand Dragon was eh. It's iconic for sure but I never liked having to use time wizard much.
Harpie's Pet - I do actually like this card but I couldn't in good faith include it on a list that doesn't have something to do with something dragon related. It's just sort of a "Here, you randomly have a dragon type monster."
Dragon zombie - If I were going to go for a dragon-themed zombie, or even a zombie-themed dragon, I probably would have either gone with Red Eyes Zombie Dragon or Dragonecro Nethersoul Dragon.
