| Emeraldegg 07/27/21 2:58:46 PM #95: | Metaphys Tyrant Dragon This is the Metaphys version of Tyrant Dragon, which metaphys in an archetype that revolves around banishing your own stuff for various effects. Metaphys TD becomes immune to trap effects period, retains TD's ability to attack again after hitting a monster, and can special summon another metaphys monster upon being banished and shuffled into the deck. One of my favorite moves when playing this deck is to combine it with concentrating current, a spell card that adds your def to your atk for a turn so you end up with a 5400 beatstick that can attack twice if it hits a monster first and is immune to trap effects. Like Thunder dragons, this is probably about the same amount of mechanic juggling, but I lucked into the necessary UR cards to give this archetype a try and finally got good at it after a lot of work. --- I'm a greener egg than the eggs from dr. seuss ...
