There's plenty of room for twists here, maybe the Federation wants the EMMIs to off Samus! It's worth noting that the EMMI log says they are 'seemingly' corrupted. It's possible they actually haven't been corrupted at all and just see Samus as a threat because she's part X/Metroid at this point. ninkendo posted...
