| Topic | Cleveland baseball is changing it's name to "Guardians" |
| Epyo 07/23/21 6:30:00 PM #40: | I'm from Cleveland and still live here! Guardians is a great name, I love it. There's a very tall, very old, very useful, art deco bridge, 50 feet away from the stadium, that has a bunch of old statues on it, called the Guardians of Transportation (as seen in the picture above), so it is a cool meaning. Cooler than the meaning of most team names, anyway. However, I'm glad Spiders didn't get picked, because I don't want people to get tricked into thinking there are more spiders here than any other place--when actually, there aren't very many icky critters here at all, of any type.
