When I got my first smartwatch, the Galaxy Gear, the step figures were very close to those measured by my 3DS, less than 5 steps difference on a 1/2 mile walk. And the area I live in is laid out on a standard PLSS grid with roads every one mile, which is what the watch comes up with when I go for a long walk. --- Minutus cantorum, minutus balorum, Minutus carborata descendum pantorum. ...
