Like, a part of me wonders if the human judge element would allow for that sort of thing, or if subconscious biases & expectations would be too strong or something like that
I mean its not on that same level but I know Gabby Douglas definitely wasn't expected to win all-around gold in Womens gymnastics in 2012.

She had never won a single individual gold medal in a world level competition prior to that olympics. And I dont think she had any all-around medals in a non-junior level competition.
