Like, a part of me wonders if the human judge element would allow for that sort of thing, or if subconscious biases & expectations would be too strong or something like thatI mean its not on that same level but I know Gabby Douglas definitely wasn't expected to win all-around gold in Womens gymnastics in 2012. She had never won a single individual gold medal in a world level competition prior to that olympics.
