I was intrigued by the Ring of Pain trailer until I saw the gimmick with chain reactions. I just don't feel like investing the time in learning new mechanics for games. When I see something that looks like it's going to take some time to learn or it's gimmicky, that's an immediate turnoff. I like things I can just jump into. Granted, the horror theme is tempting.
