Almost no anime presence but still one of the most iconic cards of the DM era. An absolutely insane card with an effect so blatantly good that everyone and their mom knew to pair this with Summoned Skull early on. I had the combo, my friends had the combo, every character in the 2004 GBA game Eternal Duelist Soul including Mako and Weevil had the combo. The tribute requirements for some of those hilariously awful early vanilla monsters meant that Summoned Skull easily stood over the rest in terms of efficiency. And while other monsters that could search the deck had another requirement like having to be destroyed by battle, Witch (& Sangan) simply had to go from field to grave making it way easier to get those cards which would most likely have been dead draws otherwise. Just incredibly versatile and while never the main attraction, Witch never ran out of other busted targets she could search out and maintained relevancy long after Summoned Skull.
