It's been probably 20-ish years since I've seen the original but it wasn't nearly as "jam as many pop culture references as possible"-ized was it? I feel like it wasn't, most of the extent of that came from the basketball players themselves right? Ready Player One-ing it for this one seems a bit weird, like I was on board with some of them I saw but I didn't realize the movie was apparently nothing BUT that kind of stuff I dont think the original had any fictional characters who werent Looney Tunes. There were the basketball players and a couple real life actors playing themselves, but Im pretty sure thats all --- For your Azuarc .
