And I absolutely hated it after my first two hours or so with it to the point I thought I'd never touch it again. After toughing out a first run through and finally getting the hang of everything, I grew to love it. But I don't blame people for not doing that. It's a Star Fox game with like a 10 hour learning curve, which is pretty inexplicable in a franchise known for accessibility. It would be much easier for them just to replicate the 64 formula with a lot more planets. Rogue-likes/lites are a thing nowadays.
