Interact with the dog and you get the overdrive. It's kind of weird because Valefor is the only Aeon to have two overdrives and you're not given any indication that it exists. Unless like, some NPC summoner uses it and I'm just forgetting (understandable if I am, haven't played in over a decade lol). If you're not prepared for post-game content by the time you can return to Besaid then you'll have to fight an optional boss that will smack you around until you are ready for post-game content. That is assuming the remastered versions are the international version, I was never fully clear on that.To be fair you can backtrack from Djose before the super boss turns up. but it's a heck of a trek. --- ^ Hey now that's completely unfair! https://imgur.com/yPw05Ob ...
