Trails to Azure Fragments complete! Wasn't expecting that to be so short!

Getting to team up with Garcia was pretty cool. Then Zeit finally gets to have his moment, complete with Lloyd's great line, "How is your timing always so good?!" I knew about him being a Holy Beast from Cold Steel, but it's also not surprising at all. I'm pretty sure they called him a Divine Wolf when he was first introduced.

I also knew about the disappearance of the Sept-Terrion of Mirage, but we got some backstory on why it happened. Apparently, Demiourgos was TOO empathetic and couldn't handle the possibility of having to eliminate problematic individuals to preserve the well-being of the people as a whole. Of course, no one learned from its disappearance and only cared about finding something to replace it. Trails is pretty good when it comes to portraying the foibles of human nature through the Sept-Terrions. Also, it'd be nice if they'd ever explain how the Great Collapse actually happened...!

They also mention Demiourgos was basically divinity given a human-like form to compensate for the fact that Aidios has no physical form and can't relate to humanity (which would not bode well for the idea that Aidios is the Grandmaster...!). The parallels to Jesus Christ here are pretty obvious.

Then it's the return of Kevin and the reveal that Wazy is a Dominion with Abbas as his knight. We get to travel Crossbell on the Merkabah, and the barrier around the city itself has been erected. I didn't realize Lloyd had been in prison for a few weeks already, so we've crossed into the Cold Steel II timeline. I guess we'll be seeing the Azure Tree soon.
