I have never in my entire life lost 2 matches in a row from mana issues, and I get fairly tilted when I lose matches to it. I think him indicating he is running 18 lands all the time is just a clue that he doesnt know how to build good decks and he is blaming all his losses on mana. Ive won games where I got stuck on 3 mana all the time by effectively managing resources until more lands came. My guess is he is just losing every time he doesnt get perfect mana because his deck isnt good. Like if he never saw more than 3 lands in esper control, he either wasnt mulliganing correctly, he cant shuffle, or more likely he just lost to aggressive decks and obviously it was the lands that were the problem. --- ...
