Most games I play I don't even listen to in game audio either. A snippet of stuff I watched today (keep in mind I also watched a Baseball game as well): I call it "static" (i.e. background noise). It helps me concentrate on work. Most of it I am not invested in (that's why a lot of it being in Japanese doesn't really affect me, but Coco's graduation was an exception).
