unlimited funding is available for startups and companies in this space and they're rushing into it. vertical farming is a great example of it and the efficiency gains from that will be huge.

Capitalism isn't going to get us out of this mess. It's what got us into it and it's the driving force behind it. It's the reason we won't be able to get out of it.

Your only counter to this is a religious faith that capitalism and Science will fix things before it's too late.

Well more has been spent on capture government, science, and media to obscure climate change and the role of industry in causing it than will be spent on fixing climate change until catastrophic things are already happening.
