It's not really your average person's fault for climate change though.

Well, in many small ways it kinda is, as the general consumer mindset/life of a modern person helps push climate change along quicker.

Buying bottled water if you have a clean tap, using disposable anything (masks, plates, forks, etc), buying a new cell phone because it's cheap and yours is 2 years old, not recycling, littering, driving to clear your mind instead of walking, flying across the world for a vacation, etc etc etc.

I have a coworker who genuinely cares about the environment and animals and recycling but she wears a disposable mask that she throws away every single day.

We all make choices everyday that negatively affect climate change to some extent, though the poorest have little choice if they want to survive.
