I mean in terms of the narrative and not as the player. So it makes the heroes feel really unprepared for what is going on and kinda hapless. The dialog is very stilted. Feels like the English was written by people who don't speak English. It is REALLY BAD at times. Beyond their own story lines, the other characters feel just kinda there and not essential. Miranda, Kongol, and Haschel especially. The addition system is still a lot of fun. I don't love that the second last addition you get is really awful before you get your best one. You outpacing the damage output of your Dragoon which I think is a mistake. Makes this mythical Dragoon hero power seem weak. This is also a problem in the sense that many enemies are Dragoons when you fight them. This mythical wonderful power seems to just be a power-up. It says the spirit of the Dragoon chooses people, but it kinda just works for anyone. Lloyd is an excellent character and I wish his machinations were better explained. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
