I feel like the people complaining about paying full price for a Metroid game never actually played a Metroid game before. They're always short, and Super Metroid at launch was literally more expensive than it is now, even if we don't take inflation into effect. Metroid games are long enough if use no outside help. I had to look up one thing in samus returns and that boiled down to I had taken like a 2 week break from thr game and kinda forgot what I was doing --- Cid- "looks like that overgrown lobster just got served!"
