Why should anyone pay to subsidize someone else's stupid decisions? If you took out so much student debt that you are having trouble paying it off, you either spent way too much on your education (going out of state/country for that "college experience") or you got a degree that doesn't in any way lead to gainful employment. --- Props to azuarc, the current Guru of the Decade.
