| Topic | I've been driving the same car for almost nine years now |
| Bomberhead 06/04/21 7:40:55 PM #2: | Anywhere between 1-4 years. 2007 - Mom and dad let me drive a late 90's Buick Regal. They had bought it from a friend, but when my dad had a stroke, they gave it to me with my learner's permit. Some lady failed to yield at a stop sign and ended up totaling the car in early 2009. (About 2 years) Mid 2009 - Parents bought me a 1999 Saturn SC2. It had oil burning/leaking problems. Mid-late 2011 on my way to college classes, I seized the engine due to lack of oil. (2 years) Late 2011 - Parents bought me a 1995 Plymouth Neon. It had oil burning/leaking problems, but that did not do it in. I think the car had a complete electrical failure in mid-late 2015. Ended up buying my next car on my own in December 2015 and junked the Neon. (About 4 years) December 2015 - I bought a 2009 Ford Focus. That car drove like a champ. Got hit on the highway in November 2017, totaling the car. (Almost 2 years) December 2017 - I bought a 2013 Ford Fusion. The transmission flares from 1-2 and 2-3, but otherwise, drives fine.
