The boob tube is for old people. Media these days can entirely be consumed online. I am, for example watching a Red Sox game via a stream right now. And most of that streaming is still done on actual televisions, which makes the complaint silly. However, you were wondering if they still made new tv shows, which goes a LOT further than just looking at the viewing format. You're criticizing the industry while propping up the vastly less popular streaming community, which is still just weird. Judgmenl posted... Broadcast television is almost entirely targeting demographics I am not part of. Broadcast television targets all demos. There are stations for everything.
