Thanks CBS Yellow posted... Bluetooth is far more unreliable than a physical microphone. It's easily jammed, picks up all sorts of interference, and drops connection easily; if LEO's are using bluetooth to connect their wire they are putting people in danger with no guarantee that they will actually get the recording.
