AEW Dark 5/18/21 was about 2 hours ago. I have a few pages of notes, but the only real highlights (besides Ricky Starks doing color for a bit) are:

1) Matt Sydal v Marty Casaus, which was the best match of the night (and this week's best Elevation match was Jungle Boy v Cassaus). Other than mugging for the camera like a complete moron, Casaus is pretty good

2) The Varsity Blondes wrestling singles matches rather than as a tag. Brian Pillman Jr even managed to get a bit out of Luther.

Otherwise there were a lot of weird, shitty promos that have to be seen to be believed. (Lance Archer must have got into Jake's drugs for one of them, and there's a lightbulb just swinging around for no reason.) Oh, and still nothing resembling closure on that weird Nyla/Madi angle. I assumed they were either going to run an angle where Nyla is trying out tag partners or Madi was finally getting a push, but Madi wasn't even on this week (and Nyla fought Reka).

Oh, and I've got a say a thing or two about fucking Dante Martin's match:

Dante Martin v Falco. Dante Martin really needs some charisma. He always has this nervous, spooked look on his face. Finish looked a bit sloppy. Dante clearly drove his knee into Falcos chest and leg into Falcos face, where the move is supposed to be midsection to midsection.
