The new management has been fantastic, and made this the best job I've ever had. Came into work today to the news that the GM had been fired this morning. I was shocked, as was everyone else. There was no apparent reason for this. She was great. Our other manager is taking it poorly. Not sure what she'll do. So... Yeah, now the old GM is back. He got fired 2 years ago for mismanaging the funds. Him and his entire team got fired and replaced with the good ones. The owners are out there now talking with him. This is making me sick. I don't know what to think. We're already short staffed and working mandatory overtime, and we're not even opening the second hotel 24/7. He's promised to have both operating at full capacity by the end of the week. Which, unless he can simply pull more workers out the air, means probably no more days off and double shifts for everyone. Even worse if anyone else decides to leave over this(I may just end up going that route myself). --- Work in progress, please be patient. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
