Take the Kaepernick controversy. He made his views publicly known, many team owners and NFL fans were divided on the issue, and a lot of his supporters were outraged. All of a sudden the consequences part of businesses protecting their brand and revenue somehow werent supposed to apply.


agreeing with a firing isn't a requirement, though. I didn't agree with how the NFL handled the Kap situation the first time around and I haven't watched since. that was a personal choice that I didn't feel the need to preach. the NFL got "woke" suddenly, but I still don't support the NFL. if more people told the NFL to shove it instead of riding both sides of the fence, things may be different. but that's their business. usually people stop supporting businesses that they take some issue with, and that's our Right. another form of freedom of speech.

but they had the right to fire Kap, and people can decide how to voice their thoughts on it. I don't agree with changing up principles just because something you enjoy is on the line. and I didn't even like Kap because I was a Raider fan all my life, lol. but the NFL was wrong, so...
