If someone does thinks that out them as a racist, even if outside of work, then fire them. If a coworker is on Facebook ranting about how he hates black people, how on earth is that company supposed to have an environment where black employees will feel safe or comfortable.

Depending on the severity of the violation, then yes, some sort of administrative measures should be taken as an appropriate response. Especially if they breached a contract with the place of employment where any sort of racism towards a coworker or clients were involved.

Eh... If they're still on the property, wearing the uniform away from work, and/or promoting racist comments and act as if the companies condone it, then sure.

Otherwise, fuck no.
