Topic	[VGMC] Day 4! Tartarus v DearDrgn, CIEL_PROTECT v SheepRaid7, Untamed v Foregone
FL81 05/14/21 1:19:12 AM #42:	Dear Dragon (Theme of Sweet Breaker) Class::CIEL_N_PROTECTA; Untamed Heart Out of Tartarus has a generic guitar rock riff, and that's it? Kinda has that shovelware racing game menu vibe, ehhh sorry but I do not like this!! Now a lot of the 100% OJ music I've not been entirely impressed with either, it seems for a lot of it, they just slap in some short electronic melody loop for the characters' themes and call it a day. Dear Dragon OTOH I actually really quite like! It manages to feel like a much more "complete" song than its longer opponent. I did not know this was by watson either!! Loving the groovy jazz piano with the electronic beat. --- I've been listening to a bunch of "fake Ar Tonelico music" albums lately (by Morrigan nonetheless) and several of the songs are copying the style of this exact song lol. My favorite part of CIEL_N_PROTECTA; is when it does those abrupt pauses. Pretty standard EXA_PICO, but it delivers. Track 7 is pretty cool too, another repetitive song, but "good repetitive". It's a bit outclassed here though. --- Okay, so both of these songs actually give me a very similar feeling, in both are very calm atmospheric tracks. So, Untamed Heart is weird in that the bells in the beginning make me think it's going to be a Pokmon legendary battle theme, but instead it transitions into a peaceful Pokmon town theme instead. This is actually super relaxing. Next is yet another DnB song. Okay, so like what's with today's theme of every second song being some chill DnB/jazzstep/whatever song? Not complaining, but a lot of today's material has very similar vibes.
