DARREB KROB i remember hearing out of tartarus back when early access first started at the end of 2018 and i remember being SUPER impressed by it but now that I actually know a few songs from pyre/bastion and the entirety of transistor i'm kinda just "yeah this is cool" about it lol. it takes a bit too long to be "Whoa this is COOL" for me to rate it super highly, like when I start reeeally getting into it is when the theremin comes in at like 4:02. and even then it's about as much as I can get into this kinda style. dear dragon is really cool!! sonic is IN SPACE but also IN A SPACESHIP approaching the moon but here comes the alien warship... THE PIANO BREAK is where i realizee "oh yep this is watson this is why this song is so hot" looool, very very cool song and i can see myself liking it even more later in contest potentially

okay gonna go track 7 first here, this song is SO 90s for real pretty much every single sample used in this makes me very happy to be hearing, just in general the feel of it is super cool. i knew Of this game before vgmc but had never really listened to it, and this track definitely makes me want to check out the rest. .....unfortunately with CIEL_N_PROTECTA as an opponent, there's no chance I'd be voting for it ;;; this is like if you combined my literal two favorite exa_pico songs in exec_z and exsphere so like of COURSE i'm going to love the shit out of it lmfaooooo. all of the insane EVIL instrumentation from the latter but with the pop factor of the former and it works??? so well?????? HOW???? also the lyrics are like SUPER VOCABULARY that's an awful way to put it LMFAO but some of the words that are used I've never ever heard in another song like ever, maybe i just haven't been able to actually pay attention to japanese lyrics for very long (i haven't) but shit like jinsenpuu (dust devil) and just in general very... almost archaic grammar?? dowolf will probably be like "LOL WHAT are you talking about" but oh well yes i love song thank youb

I LOVE KLONOA MUSIC but untamed heart is a little too "composition specific technical" for me to really enjoy it i think??? like i'm just like okay this song exists until 1:01 i LOVE THOSE BELLS but everything else is just there to me so it hurts the song :( and it hurts me to hurt the song :( THE BEEEEES and the BEEEELLS whoa is that tracker music i hear??? music being in a tracker automatically makes me like it (percent)% more for absolutely no reason other than the method used to make it (not actually, just samples used in the way trackers do tend to sound WAY COOL to me and this song is no exception. multiple repetitive parts woooo mama thats what i LIKE, very good track I don't have much else to say about it, it's just really solid.
