Dear Dragon (Theme of Sweet Breaker)
Track 7
Untamed Heart

100% OJ: Starting: is this a cyberspace bossfight? Am in a shmup section? And then suddenly, piano. That section is pretty nice, and the bassline contrasts it without taking away from it. Then the electronics start back up with the piano and I've kind of lost focus on the track, kind of like the piano player lost track of any sense of direction with the rest of the instruments. And yet, it doesn't sound like it lost the thread entirely? This song confuses without offending, and I was torn between "ehn" and liking it, but a relisten made me enjoy it. Hrm.
Hades: I haven't played Hades, and if I didn't know this was Hades off the bat, I would've claimed it was an early Borderlands track, except without Cage the Elephant. Which is just fine by me. Then ~3:00 hits, and it goes from Borderlands to Doom-lite. This is... okay, but it seems awfully repetitive for a long track?

CIEL: Anime opening/10, but somehow with my NOT usually liking that kind of thing, I'm a little into it? I especially appreciate the "computer vocal" parts, and the... is that a goto? Whatever that Japan-style harp/string instrument is. Plus the flute straight out of Okami. It's pretty okay!
Looney Tunes: Groovy-chill liquid D&B. Like a lot of things on this list, I enjoy it, which means it probably won't do well. I wish the drums were a teeny bit more in the forefront, and the melody itself varied a bit more.

Klonoa: Waking up from a pleasant dream only to find you have sleep paralysis and go back to the pleasant dream: the track.
UT: "Why have I heard this before? Oh yeah, sniped on a specific TF2 custom map." It's very much background music intended to not be focused on while you get shot at and die repeatedly, and as such, won't go anywhere far, if I had to wager. Pretty cool, though, but it loses out to Klonoa.

[Brackets.] - Endless backlog. Presume I'm playing something MMO with some Indies on the side.
